Mandi began dancing at the age of 4 at Classic Image Dance in Mesa, Arizona, and was invited to join the studio’s youngest company at age 6. As a member of their competitive companies for 13 years, Mandi has attended numerous competitions and conventions, taken master classes with well-respected teachers and earned several regional and national titles, as well as scholarships from various competitions. Mandi is trained in all forms of dance, however Jazz and Contemporary remain her favorites. After graduating high school, Mandi had the opportunity to perform in the International Dance Festival in NYC. she was part of the show, The 11th Hour, choreographed by Eddie Garcia. Mandi also danced for two seasons with Center Dance Ensemble, the resident dance company of the Herberger Theater. Her favorite and most notable performance was as the ‘Rose Spirit’ in the Snow Queen, the company’s annual holiday production. During this time, she was also a dance finalist in the Arizona Young Artist Competition. While dancing with the company, Mandi began teaching at various studios around the valley. Her students and choreography have been awarded many overall titles in many regional competitions. Mandi’s passion for teaching has led her to open her own studio where she can help dancers find their own passion for dance.
